Education and Career Milestones
Dr. Hillstead pursued a future in dentistry and was accepted into the University of Washington School of Dentistry, where he served as President of the Student Dental Association. During this time, he underwent orthodontic treatment for himself and developed a passion for orthodontics. He went on to complete his orthodontic residency at A.T. Still University in Mesa, Arizona, where he served as Chief Resident and focused his research on oral hygiene during orthodontic treatment.
After nearly 11 years of schooling, Dr. Hillstead purchased a practice near Sedona, Arizona before moving back to the mountains in Utah. He is Invisalign Certified and a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, an achievement that demonstrates his skills and knowledge in providing the highest level of care to his patients.
Family and Hobbies
Dr. Hillstead and his wife, Alison, have five beautiful children and enjoy playing games, hiking, and playing on the beach. They also love to travel and explore all that Utah has to offer.
